Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This notice explains cookies and similar technologies used by ApexRideGear, operated by APEX RIDING GEAR LLC. Read it with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies do

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Related technologies may store local settings or send technical information when a page loads. They can support site operation, accounts, shopping carts, security and user preferences.

Essential and preference cookies

WordPress and WooCommerce may use cookies to maintain a login, remember a cart or session and support security. If you choose to save your details when leaving a review, a cookie may remember those details for later visits. The cookies used depend on the features you use; some expire at the end of a session while others remain for a defined period or until deleted.

Current order-attribution cookies

WooCommerce order-attribution tracking is currently enabled and sets first-party cookies with names beginning with sbjs_. They record visit sources, referring and landing pages, campaign parameters, visit times, browser/device information and pages viewed within a session. We use this information to understand which visits lead to orders and assess marketing effectiveness. If you place an order, attribution information may be saved with the order. This is measurement rather than a cookie needed to keep items in your cart. The Cookie Policy lists the cookies and their current lifetimes; cookie expiry does not delete information already stored with an order.

Current first-party WooCommerce attribution cookies
Cookie Purpose Lifetime
sbjs_current, sbjs_first Current and initial visit source, including campaign information where present. Browser session
sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first_add Visit time, landing page and referring page for current and initial sources. Browser session
sbjs_udata Browser/device information and visit/session metadata. Browser session
sbjs_migrations Technical compatibility/version information for attribution cookies. Browser session
sbjs_session Session identifier and page-view count. About 30 minutes

These lifetimes reflect the current configuration. Browser session restoration or browser settings can affect when session cookies disappear. Attribution saved with an order is subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy, rather than the cookie expiry time.

Email-marketing integration

The site already loads Hostinger Reach’s embedded script for email-marketing and signup integration. If you choose to subscribe, your submitted contact information and subscription preferences may be processed by Hostinger Reach to manage the subscription and deliver emails. Newsletter signup is optional. Loading the script is separate from choosing to subscribe, and the resource request itself is described below.

Additional analytics and advertising plans

Google Analytics and Meta/TikTok advertising integrations remain planned integrations. They are separate from the active WooCommerce attribution and Hostinger Reach resources described here. Before activating additional analytics or advertising tools, we will update our notices to identify the actual providers, data, purposes and sharing, and provide consent or opt-out choices where required by applicable law.

Your choices

You can use your browser’s privacy settings to view, remove or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect login and cart features. Unsubscribing from marketing email is separate: use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us. If you need help with applicable privacy rights or tracking practices, email us. We will review requests under applicable law.

Embedded and external services

Pages currently load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), images from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), and the Hostinger Reach embedded script (cdn-reach.hostinger.com). WordPress may also load emoji resources from s.w.org. These requests can occur when a page loads, without you clicking an external link. The resource provider receives your IP address and request details, which may include browser information, the requested resource and a referring page where your browser permits it. These providers process information under their own policies; their handling may include information collected over time from other sites using their services. See the Google, Unsplash, Hostinger and Automattic privacy policies for their practices.

Following an external link can also take you to a service with its own policies. Cookie controls do not necessarily prevent embedded network requests: you can use browser or content-blocking settings to restrict requests to external domains.

Browser privacy signals

Our current site does not automatically disable order-attribution cookies or embedded resource requests in response to a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. A Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal likewise does not currently switch off those features. These signals are different from blocking cookies in your browser. We do not represent this notice as an automatic consent or opt-out mechanism. To submit a privacy request, including an applicable request to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, contact Support@apexridegear.com. We review requests under applicable law; this contact option does not replace any obligation to honor a legally required browser signal.
